Sharing DAD photos.....

Ok, I know. Sharing this idea again??? Just so you know, I share it every year :) For one, there are new followers who might not know about this idea, and two, I gives everyone a good reminder.

Father's Day is coming up now that is officially June 1st! I thought I would post this idea "early" giving you 3 weeks to "craft" this up. And with the magic of 1 hour photo you could even wait until the day before Father's day and still get this gift put together in time!

It's a "tradition" to give this gift on Father's day and yes Dad knows it's coming and expects it, but it's one of his favorite gifts. :)

1. Snatch up some wooden letters - you need 1 "D" and 1 "A"
2. Photograph your children with the letters. 1 Letter for each photo
3. Pick our your favorite shots and edit if necessary. Submit to your local 1 hour photo.
4. While your prints are being processed shop for a frame that has 3 slots/openings for your pictures!
Put it all together and gift it to Dad on Father's day!

More options?:

What about gifting one to "GRANDPA" or "PAPA"

Do you have a lot of kids? Spell out the word "FATHER" instead of Dad.

Update each year for Father's Day and store last years pictures behind the current year. Then reminisce each year on how much your kids/family and your photography skills have grown! ;)

  23. Thank you, thank you... you're my hero and rescuer for Father's Day this year!

We are missionaries in Ukraine, so we don't have wooden English letters available to us here. But, I am just cutting the letters out of cardstock & I think ours will turn out just as cute. They also don't sell the 3-photo frames either, but I'm sure I can figure something else.

Thanks for getting me headed in the right direction!
