OH we are counting down the days until Summer Vacation! Luckily for us, it's just a few left! If you are looking for some ideas of what to do with your kids this summer, take a peek at some of our ideas to kick start your summer fun!
This is my favorite one! A slew of ideas I gathered together for a presentation I did last year. It's a little planning with room for being spontaneous too - Summer journals, picnics, etc.
If you are hitting the road - here's a few ways to enjoy the "journey" and not just the destination.....Create a Mary Poppins bag and an
get crafty outdoors with some SPIN ART using an old Salad spinner! Your kids will LOVE this!
And the arrival of June means Father's DAY! Give a gift that you can UPDATE every year and one gift that he will always look forward to getting - the DAD picture . Perfect for Grandpas too!!!

Love your site. I have been lucky enough to come across-ed it. Here is another blog I stumbled across that has some great ideas to have fun with the kids and party ideas too.

We just went camping in our living room! Which, in a tiny apartment, was a feat of its own. But it was fun, and saved on gas :)
ReplyDeleteLove the spin art idea!
ReplyDeleteYeah thats a cool gift. I just got made two, one for my hubby and one for his dad.
ReplyDeleteLove the Dad photo! I am definitely going to do that this year.
ReplyDeleteI love the DAD photos Megan, and I already have the perfect frame! Count me in!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I've been wanting to make the usual I Spy beanbag game, but I like the book idea even better. I'm sure it would keep my 2 year old busy for at least 15 minutes :).
