Mom It Monday #1

It's MONDAY!!! And today I kick off a new regular feature - Mom it Monday!

Each Monday I will share a family/kid friend activity, idea, tutorial, craft, fun recipe to make with your family, etc. AND starting NEXT Monday you too will be able to link up and share your kid friendly ideas to! Get ready to link up in 1 week! :)

Today's idea is a quick, easy way to put a new spin on lunch time!
Serve it in a muffin baking tin!

I picked up this small (6 cup) muffin tin at $1.00 store.
Serving lunch in a muffin tin lets you give small portions of lots of things! It's a great way to introduce new foods, keeps things separated for those kids that don't like their food to touch (I have one of those) and just makes it really fun!!!

This meal has been kids tested, mother approved and it even got a thumbs up from my 2 year old!

If you want more muffin tin lunch ideas (super cute ones!) head over to the Muffin Tin Monday blog! She has LOTS of ideas and they get really creative too!

  4. Thank you for mentioning my little corner of the interwebz. My daughter is also a "foods can't touch" eater. Our dollar store ran out of muffin tins, but I have also been able to find them there. :)
