Countdown to Christmas w/ Books – Mom it monday #9

A new Christmas Tradition we are starting this year is 25 days of Christmas story books! I pulled out our Christmas books that we normally set out for the Holidays, then bought a few more (from the bookstore and the thrift store too) to make up 25. Wrap all the books and label them with numbers 1 – 25 if you want.

(psst! love the pre-made tags from Martha Stewart)

Place them under the tree and enjoy opening a Christmas Storybook each night to read as a family! It’s not to late to start! Wrap up what you have already and then grab a few more over the next couple of days.

It’s another fun way to count down to Christmas and the kids love opening a present each night!
Time to link up! Show off your craftiness, your ideas and your traditions!
(most viewed link last week was from Sassy Style Re-Design)

1. direct links only to your tutorial – snag a button or add the link to your LINK UP page

I will be linking up and sharing the book idea HERE throughout the week!

  1. Happy Mom it Monday to you… 🙂 I just linked up the DIY Winter Snowman… Thank You for hosting..

  2. I love the idea of the books. I did it one year when my kids were younger, but forgot to do it more recently. You’ve inspired me to dig out my holiday books and wrap them up.

  3. Thanks for hosting! I got a little carried away and linked up 3 projects 🙂 If that’s too many, feel free to delete any. We read a different Christmas story every night too…but I never think to wrap the books! I really should.

  4. LOVE this Storybook advent calendar idea. I am book buyer in my f/t job so this is right up my alley! Thanks for sharing.

  5. This is probably the best Christmas countdown idea I’ve seen! Must catch up to do this with my family!

  6. Love this Christmas countdown idea! I’m coming back to link my project too!~ 🙂

Thanks for linking to a Round Tuit!
Hope you have a great week!
