Hello Brassy Apple folk! I’m Vanessa from Our Thrifty Ideas. I’m so excited to be posting as part of the SOS series.
Today I’m sharing one of our all time favorite summer activities, Edible Paint.
This is great for those younger children who would normally be eating the regular paint (I have a few of those!). Just be warned, that you will probably need to have then run through the sprinklers after…because all though there’s a canvas for them to paint on, most of it ends on their bodies!
All you need is some vanilla pudding, a plastic table cloth (think dollar store) and food coloring.
Separate the pudding into individual bowls and color it with food coloring. Hang the tablecloth on the fence and then hand the kiddos a paint brush, let them create!
My biggest tip that I will give you is to do it in the shade. The sun can quickly melt the pudding which makes it harder to paint with. Also, if it gets too runny, just put the tablecloth on the floor and let them paint that way!
Thanks so much for having me today. HAPPY SUMMER, and with all the kids home, Stay Sane!

This is such a fun idea Vanessa!!
