DIY Blogger house

If you've been following any of the talented bloggers below then you know all about the DIY blogger House! The first of it's kind (to my knowledge anyway) where DIY Bloggers have been involved in planning/decorating and creating a house for a parade of homes in Daybreak, UT! Pretty cool right!

They held a VIP night before it was open to the public and I got to attend and get a sneak peek AND hear about all the wonderful DIY projects that were incorporated!

To see all the GREAT pictures, where to shop for the same stuff, their point of view plus some tutorials on how to create some of the same projects - visit the DIY bloggers who created this home!

Tatertots and Jello - office and living room
The House of Smiths - Kitchen and Dining Room
Crap I've Made - Kids bedrooms
Less Cake {more frosting} - kids bedrooms
The Idea Room - Laundry Room & Mud Room
Jordan Valley Home and Garden - Patio daybed swing tutorial
Jordan Valley Home and Garden - Vintage garden arbor tutorial

I got to sit on the amazing hanging daybed on the patio! LOL

and I thought it was interesting that two of the same pieces that caught my eye at DownEast Homes (and I blogged about) were found in the DIY blogger House!

Here are so many FUN, interesting, SMART and new elements in this house! If you are in the Salt Lake or surrounding area - it's worth the tour in the parade of homes! If you aren't be sure to stop by all the links I listed above for the direct post about the DIY blogger house!

If you go or have been, tell me one of your favorite things!
(I will be creating an album in Facebook with my photos from my tour!)

  5. That picture of you on the hanging daybed swing is awesome! I'm so glad you enjoyed the house. I got lots of great ideas for interior projects in my house from those gals! One of the things that most impressed me was that each of the ladies has their own style and Brian managed to help pull it all together so that THEIR style was reflected in the rooms yet the whole house still fit together stylewise- not easy to do I'm sure. It was fun to see you there!
