Taking your wardrobe into Fall and extending some of your favorite or newer summer pieces may be easier than you think!
This striped "summery" dress can go into the Fall season by (tip #1) pairing it with dark leggings/jeggings/skinny jeans and boots. A lot of stores are (tip #2) clearance-ing out there Summer items so there are great deals to be bought up. But that doesn't mean you have to save them for next year! You can still get some wear out of them right now!
Summery items can also be worn in the Fall by (tip #3) pairing it with a cardigan or sweater. The browns in the cardigan, belt and leggings/boots (tip #4) pulls the browns throughout the entire outfit giving it a cohesive look and a more layered "fall" feel to it. Completely different than if the dress were simply worn with sandals and sunglasses = summer-y feel.
