Polar Express with Heber Valley Railroad

Oh my heavens! I love a little magic or better yet being part of a magic moment. This wasn’t a little magic, this was A LOT of magic! Last weekend my family had the opportunity to ride the North Pole Express in Heber, Utah.
Its was the “polar express” in all shapes and forms and my kids were beyond thrilled! We arrived in our jammies (well my kids did) at the train station and picked up our tickets from a very cool ticket booth. We weren’t the only ones excited – it was a sold out night! A full train packed with kids who had a sparkle in their eyes and excitement all around them! (be sure to reserve your tickets early)

We were greeted by elves and helped onto the train where we found a seat together in the train car which was decorated for the season with festive music playing!

The North Pole Express pulls out right on time so don’t be late! With a “chug, chug, chug” and a few blows from the whistle we were off and heading to the North Pole!
The elves make their way down the aisles handing out cookies made by Mrs. Claus followed by hot chocolate. We each got to keep our souvenir hot chocolate mug too! The entire trip takes 1.5 hours but it goes by fast! There is constant entertainment, laughing, giggling, dancing, singing and some special GUESTS too!

There are lots of fun experiences and I’d hate to give all the surprises away…..so I won’t! You’ll have to book your train ride on the North Pole Express to experience all the magic for yourself.
When Santa arrived he spent time with each child and gave them a special present – a silver bell. How fitting and perfectly… well perfect way to end the train ride!

Be sure to check their schedule for dates to ride the North Pole Express. It’s an experience not to be missed and treasured always! Thank you Heber Valley Railroad for the wonderful family night and Christmas memories made that are never to be forgotten! Oh and we can’t forget the tickets now can we! Another great momento to keep…
Has your family ridden the North Pole Express? What was your experience like?
