One of my favorite things is versatility in my wardrobe. You are probably tired of hearing me say that! LOL....sorry :) (tip #1) I only buy what I will wear. I don't buy items for that 1 special occasion or maybe someday or in 3 months when I got to that event....I buy items to wear now and THEN! People often ask "where are you going all dressed up?" and I probably haven't left the house all day! It's just the way I roll. (tip #2) I get dressed every day - head to toe in what I feel good in - and I wear what's in my closet (no saving for that "someday").
I got this beaded trim purple top from ModestPop.com. It's one of those versatile tops in my closet. It can be casual - jeans, boots, and some gold accessories (thanks to the DIY line Styled by Tori)
or dressed up - black cardigan, changed the accessories, some black heels or ankle boots and I could even slip on a black pencil skirt with this!

ReplyDeleteI seriously love the shirt you're wearing today! I had a similar shirt in a different color a few years ago, with the beading around the neck, and flattering somewhat billowy feel. I LOVED it until it got super crazy grease stained by some restaurant salad dressing.
