Do you have the 4 seasons where you live? We do and I think I tend to be cold more months of the year than warm...*wink*....oh well!
BUT that is why I have so many layering items in my closet. I love a cut cardigan, cropped jacket or sweater jacket. They made staying warm easier and stylish through all the cold months. Plus then I get extra use out of my short sleeved tops too. (tip #1 layer over or under your short sleeved tops or tank tops for all year use)
I thrifted this jacket recently because I was first drawn to the color. (tip #2) A fun colored jacket or cardigan and "spice" up any plain top. Make sure (tip #3) that the cut and length of the jacket/cardigan fits you well. Some cardigans can be too loose or too long or too flow-y or too tight. Some jackets (tip #3) can be to boxy, the fabrics too bulky for the hemline hits you at the wrong spot.
That's a tank top I'm wearing (from Target). With the jacket it keeps me warm this winter and pulls the outfit together without too much bulk either!
Want to see my photo fails???? booo.....I snapped my pictures too quickly I guess (so cold to be outside) and didn't check CLOSELY enough - I ended up with blurry pictures by nighttime when I went to edit. No time to re-shoot (it's dark outside!)
BIG fail!
I did think my accessories where cute. I layered 2 necklaces. I had a short little pink one but wanted a bit more hanging further down and I simply strung a Styled a Tori pendant on a chain and viola! It was a perfect feminine combo....

Cute! Much to cold to be outside in that though but I love it! :)
